Every procedure has its own set of rules and protocols that one should follow, as it is the way of achieving the best results. The same goes for PRP therapy too. To help the interested practitioners to get the desired results, PRP kits were introduced, and these kits offer everything in one place as required for the therapy.
When someone suggests owning a PRP kit, the researchers conclude that they can prepare their kit with some tubes, needles, syringes, etc., thrown together in a bag. This is not the way of conducting a PRP therapy, as the resulting PRP will not be accurate and the purity of PRP will be no more than 3 to 4 percent concentration. Hence, owning the PRP kit that contains everything required in one place is the best way of getting the expected results in a PRP therapy.
PRP tubes are one of the many important parts of a PRP kit. You can buy PRP tubes of the best quality by visiting Dr. Renat Akhmerov’s Plasmolifting Technologies or their official webpage. They can get you the authentic PRP tubes at an affordable price. Visit their webpage to get more information.
Finding the Best PRP Kit
Before choosing any PRP kit, you should first understand that these kits are available in two different kinds.
Gel separators
Get separators are not some complicated devices that are used for PRP therapy but are a special kind of tube with gel inside them. These gels are prepared with a density more than that of the platelets and blood, and hence the tubes can segregate blood and platelets successfully after the centrifugation process.
The only drawback of using get separators is that the platelets can sometimes get stuck on the gel, and the resulting separation layers might not be 1 to 1.5x concentration as promised.
Buffy coat based
The term ‘buffy coat’ stands for the thin layer in the tubes. The layer will be buff or neutral coloured and it will sit just between the platelet serum and blood after the centrifugation process. The platelet serum that is separated from the blood cells will be suspended with plasma.
The buffy coat will not cause any contamination in the platelet suspended plasma serum, but you should be extra careful while separating the layers from one another. Even the slightest mistake during the extraction can contaminate the suspension with RBC cells.
The Third Type
Apart from these above-mentioned PRP kits, there is a third type and is known by the name buffy coat-based PRP kit. This kit is ideal for centrifugation systems that run with double-spin systems. The resulting serum of platelet suspended plasma from this third type of kit will be of 5x to 7x concentrations.
Studies have shown that the researchers that have dedicated their time to these PRP therapies are not getting the recognition that they deserve. People are taking a step back from choosing this therapy because of all the myths that surround it, and also because it can cost someone more money than what they have in their budget for medical procedures.
